Armless Inspiration !!

Read about Jessica Cox few weeks ago in the newspaper.

She has no arms, but she can fly a plane !!

Some details about her :

 

The doctors don't exactly know why Jessica was born without arms. 

She learned to feed herself and write with her feet. 

Without arms, she can do a lot of things:

swimming, gymnastics, tap dancing, 

playing piano,  putting in contact lenses, 

washing and brushing her hair,

and fixing breakfast in the morning...

 

At 25 words per minute, Jessica was able to type out her papers with a regular computer keyboard on the floor.

 

Jessica started tae kwon-do when she was ten, earning her first black belt at fourteen in the International Tae Kwon-Do Federation. She rejoined American Tae Kwon-Do Association in college and earned a second black belt.

 

She can drive a car (a normal car without modification) 

and she can even fly a plane !!

申请新加坡奖学金 - ASEAN Scholarship

Closing date is 11 April 2009!! 

Not much time left ...

For Standard 6 and Form 1 students :

There are other ways to get Singapore scholarship also...

So, some parents might want to try all kind of ways...

In the past, sometimes Singapore only allow us to try 1 or 2 ways...

Which means, if you have sit for this test, 

they don't allow you to sit for the "school base" scholarship test..

But for last year, Singapore allow us to try ALL kind of ways!!

可惜我都没有记录下来，

现在只能找回2006年起的成绩。。。

去年，

去了新加坡华侨中学念书的学生家长告诉我，

在新加坡读6年中学的奖学金，

至少值得RM 200,000 或以上!!

(包吃，包住，包学费，

还有每个月大约$200 新币当零用钱!!)
